TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS :
All our Laguiole folding knives are hand crafted according to strict specifications :

440 stainless steel blade : this steel, also called "surgery steel", is perfect for a folding knife. It features a high percentage of carbon (for a sharp cutting edge) and chrome (to prevent it from rusting). It is commonly used among all european cutlers.

Olive-tree handle with two forged stainless steel bolsters : the 2 bolsters guarantee the strenght of the handle. These are forged. The olive-tree wood is naturally veined and gives this knife authenticity, and carries an image of traditional values. It also features an incrustation of the christian cross.
